1.  A sexually active teenage who doesn’t use contraceptives has a 90% chance of becoming pregnant within a year.

2. The United States has one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in the western industrialized world.
 
3.  Almost 50% of teenagers have never considered how a pregnancy would affect their lives.

4.  In 2011, the teen birthrate in the United States fell to the lowest level recorded in nearly 70 years of tracking teen childbearing. 

5.  Teen girls have a hard time supporting their babies. Raising a baby can cost up to $10,000 in the first year alone.
6.  About 80% of teenage fathers don't marry the mom. They also contribute very little to raise/take care of  the baby.
