What Is Youth?: A youth is a person who is young, a person who is between teenage and adult age. A youth can also be seen as the act of being young.

ROLES OF YOUTH IN THE CHURCH

Role is always a great word to know. Role is the process in which some or something is involve, in an activity.

1. By visiting those who are seek or those in distress

2. The youth plays a role of supporting the adult church members, teaching them, as young  learn from old and old learn from young also.

3. Attending the weekly service

4.To improve, create, and share the lesson from the preacher/proclaimer

THE TYPES OF VIOLENCE AGAINST YOUTH

1.     Homicide: This is a willful killing of one/a human being by another person. E.g using of short     gun, pistol, or machete, etc…

2.   Robbery: This is the taking away or stilling from a person by using force or threat. Because of  this,  robbery is often related to that  of homicide violence by displaying weapons.

3.   Aggravated assault: this is the process of making something become more worst, instead, 
s      olving the problem.

4. Raping: This is the enforcement of someone in order to have sexual intercourse which is against the person’s will.

THE DUTIES OF YOUTH

Ø  Duty to serve and trust God            (proverb 3:5)

Ø  Duty to obey the elders

Ø  Duty to obey the rules and regulations in church. E.g the use of hand-set not allowed

Ø  Duty to walk of the right way of life

Ø  Duty to value the children

Ø  Duty to serve their parent   (Mathew 15:4)
